Night vision devices are currently widely used in civilian equipment. Night vision devices originated from military use. Later, after the military was gradually converted to civilian use, night vision devices were derived and subdivided into various types of infrared night vision devices, such as heavy-duty laser pan-tilt night vision devices, hunting night vision devices, outdoor night vision devices, waterway ship monitoring night vision devices, forest fire prevention night vision devices, etc.

The optical solutions used in many products of these night vision devices are generally: 808nm filter, 850nm filter, 940nm filter. In some scene monitoring, laser night vision devices are used. Laser lighting is used at night. The laser has a long distance and a wide range, which can meet the requirements of 1000 to 10,000 meters of night monitoring.

Due to the temperature drift and incident angle of the 808nm laser, Borisun Optics has designed and customized 850nm narrowband filters for customers, which are suitable for precision optical instruments, with a cutoff rate of OD4 and half bandwidth (FWHM<15NM).

Technical parameters:

Center wavelength: 850+/-2nm

Incident angle:

Half peak bandwidth: 25nm

Peak transmittance: >90% (according to customer needs)

Product size: 3mm-80mm (customizable)

Cutoff wavelength: 200nm-1100nm (according to customer needs)

Cutoff depth: >OD3-OD6 UV-NIR

Product material: optical grade glass (K9, BK7, B270, D263T, JGS1, color glass, float glass, etc.)

Extension:

Night vision devices are divided into active and passive types according to the principle. Active night vision system uses non-visible light as light source, and it has two working modes: one is regional illuminator, such as infrared lamp (infrared light source: 808nm, 850nm, 940nm); the other is to use narrow beam to control scanning field of view, receive reflected non-visible light (special narrow band filter to filter stray light interference) and display the image synchronously on the monitor screen. This kind of night vision device can also be called optical night vision device, such as infrared, ultraviolet, X-ray, etc. Passive night vision system uses natural micro-light such as moonlight, starlight, sky glow, and heat generated by objects themselves, and amplifies and enhances through image intensifier to achieve the purpose of visibility. This kind of night vision device is also called micro-light night vision device or thermal imager.
